‘Neil Gorsuch, Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, is a gift to conservative Christians, and poison for the separation of church and state.’ Pentecostals and evangelicals will be happy that Trump has fulfilled his pledge to them by Gorsuch taking office. However Protestantism in America was founded on separation of church and State which is something Trump has pledged to change in favour of legislated Christianity.
Gorsuch’s history as a judge on the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, as we’ve noted multiple times, shows that he’s a threat to church-state separation and true religious freedom.
