Sabbath

Many are call but few are chosen for they reject both their physical & spiritual well being. 

God only ever wrote once in His own finger the way to life, the conditions necessary for eternal life- the Ten Commandments. The Bible which speaks to us of salvation revolves around these 10 laws called the laws of liberty.  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 1 James 1:25 Jesus personified those commandments which He gave by His life on earth.

Exodus 20 the commandments are written once-

Exodus 20:8  Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.  20:9  Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:  20:10  But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates:  20:11  For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Written twice

Deut  5:12            Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.  5:13  Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:  5:14  But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.   5:15  And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. 

Remembering the creator as commanded in the 10 commandments is re-issued in the book of Revelation in relation to the everlasting gospel and as the subject to be brought to people’s attention worldwide.  The message is given in relation to the sanctuary and the judgement hour.  Judgement and cleansing is the work of believers in relation to Christ in the heavenly sanctuary Heb 8:1 to have a people prepared to meet God at His promised second coming. John 14:3

Revelation  14:6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,   14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 

In the life after the resurrection of the dead Sabbath worship will continue

Isaiah  66:22        For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.  66:23 And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.  66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

The manifestation of God through a commandment keeping people  John 14:21               He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.   14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?  14:23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and

my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John put the mark high and very plainly 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.   3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

However  2:1     My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  The understanding of sin and how it is dealt with in the life and eradicated from the life is more fully explained by studying the sanctuary and life of Christ. Both hand in hand.

Paul’s warning  2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Peter warns us concerning the misapplication of Paul’s writings 3:15        And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;   3:16   As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
