The debate that encircled certain Christian circles on the nature of Christ & His divinity in its study gives a greater appreciation of who God is & the depth of the sacrifice. As understanding the Holy Spirit gives us a greater understanding of the majesty & mystery of Godliness.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
What does the Word of God say?
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead proceeding forth from the Father. He speaks to a million people perhaps a billion beings at once. Each person of the Godhead is one in purpose. When life has ended the Spirit returns to God who gave it. The nature and action and life-giving power of God’s Spirit is a mystery. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. At the resurrection, the Spirit of God is returned to give life again
John 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
There is a basic issue that proceeds all others and that is the ability to assimilate the truth. Despite Christ giving in the plainest language the relationship of himself to His Father 2000 years later the same resistance is seen to the truth. As if the answer is given by title such as trinitarian and non-trinitarian people’s minds are already shut while still claiming that they know God. They do not understand the basic issue of the great controversy or the depth of the sacrifice and for many, it is unimportant for them to know. Will it be the same in God’s kingdom when everyone is taught of God or should we be willing candidates here and now?
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
With every new controversy that faces the church and those concerned, the truth can only shine brighter and deeper for those investigating and embracing the light.
“Brethren, we are now erelong to part asunder, and the Lord knoweth whether I shall live ever to see your faces more; but whether the Lord hath appointed that or not, I charge you before God and his blessed angels to follow me no farther than I have followed Christ. If God should reveal anything to you by any other instrument of his, be as ready to receive it as you ever were to receive any truth by my ministry; for I am very confident that the Lord hath more truth and light yet to break forth out of his Holy Word. For my part, I cannot sufficiently bewail the condition of the reformed churches, who are come to a period in religion, and will go no farther than the instruments of their reformation. The Lutherans cannot be drawn to go any farther than what Luther saw, and the Calvinists, you see, stick fast where they were left by that great man of God, who yet saw not all things. This is a misery much to be lamented; for though they were burning and shining lights in their time, yet they penetrated not into the whole counsel of God, but were they now living, would be as willing to embrace further light as that which they first received. {GC88 291.3}
“Remember your church covenant, in which you have agreed to walk in all the ways of the Lord, made known or to be made known unto you. Remember your promise and covenant with God and with one another, to receive whatever light and truth shall be made known to you from his written Word. But, withal, take heed, I beseech you, what you receive as truth. Examine it, consider it, compare it with other scriptures of truth before you receive it; for it is not possible that the Christian world should come so lately out of such thick antichristian darkness, and that perfection of knowledge should break forth at once.” {GC88 292.1}
